unbottled questions, the chief of which are as follows:-
(1) The tax (in spite of assurances to the contrary is
still collected on raw opium at the time of sale (pugo ).
(2) The time-limit for boiling down (in spite of anpurances
to the contrary) appears still to be three days (page 16).
(3) The monopoly still continues to exist, though it has been transferred from the Kuang Jung Yuan to the canton Opium
Guild.
(4) The contention of the Chinese Government that tho
British Government has not acted up to the spirit of the ton Your's Agrossent should be met and disposed of (pago 24).
(8) It remains to be decided whether an inrenity should
